Helicopters
A few tips for beginners:
Training models are mainly used for learning to fly. Unlike fuselage models, they are more robust, easier to maintain, quicker to assemble, and quicker to repair. The fairing consists only of a front cover for the mechanics, known as a trainer canopy. This can be removed in just a few simple steps. This means that nothing is hidden and all components can be checked or adjusted more easily. The tail consists merely of a tail boom made of aluminum or carbon. In the event of a crash, the rotor blades usually hit the tail boom. With a fuselage model, this usually means a long break from flight training. Intensive rebuilding would be required. Removing the mechanics, repairing cracks, filling and repainting the fuselage, re-resin the frames, re-cut and install the tail drive train... a time-consuming undertaking. It's certainly fun, but flight training falls by the wayside. Beginners in particular need to train regularly and frequently. Thanks to the simple design of the trainer, repairs can be carried out in a short time. All parts are easily accessible and replaceable. Crashing today and flying again tomorrow is only possible with training models...
